Scale Rails of SW Florida is a 100% NMRA membership club. One of the benefits of NMRA membership is the ability
to gain skills and recognition of those skills. That is what the AP program is all about. This page will Identify
the club members who have gained such recognition, and when new awards are presented, a picture of the presentation will be

Achievement Program Awards

On March 13, 2004, Stan Seeds, center, who is our club's Achievement Program Coordinator, and who is also Master Model
Railroader #318, presents the Master Model Railroader - Electrical award to Dennis Little, left and the Golden Spike award
to Alex Halberda, right.

On May 8, 2004, Jim Beliveau was presented with his Golden Spike Award. Shown in this photo are members who were
present during the award ceremony who had previously earned the Golden Spike. They are from left to right, Dennis Little,
Stan Seeds, Don Sprotbery, Stan Durbin, Jim Beliveau, Bob Veefkind, and Alex Halberda.

In April, 2005, President Dennis Little presented Stan Seeds, MMR, with his ninth Master Modeler Achievement Award.
This Award was for Association Official in recognition of Stan's many years as the Sunshine Region's Secretary.

On June 11, 2005, George Nink was presented with the Golden Spike Award. The picture shows Stan making the presentation,
surrounded by other Club members present who also have achieved the Golden Spike Award. Congratulations George!

At the March 11 General meeting, Francis "Skip" Giddings was presented with the Club's Golden Spike award by AP Program
Chair Stan Seeds, MMR.

Also at the March club meeting Stan presented to Dennis Little two Merit Awards. One award was for a scratch built
D&RGW stone depot installed at the Castle Rock scene on the Club Layout. The other award was for a scratch built
crossing.
