Over the summer, the size of the work crew was small.  However, notable progress was made.  Below you see Don putting the finishing touches on the staging track, which is now complete and operational.

Don and George have finished the installation of turnouts and track for Pueblo, CO.  Here we see Don working on attaching the drops to the bus wire and wiring up the frogs.  Pueblo will be slid into place over the top of the staging track.

This shows the status of the San Bernardino roundhouse.  Stan and Heino have been very busy over the summer.  Heino completed the "stick building" process and added all the roof panels.  He then installed the back wall sections that Stan had cast.

This is the Denver roundhouse.  It has been salvaged from Stan's home layout.

Stan plans to have his work on modeling Summit judged in hopes of being awarded the Achievement Program "Prototype" certificate.  The next photo shows the funeral trolley car Descanso that he scratch built.  This trolley car is installed at Summit.

The next two photos show scenes at Summit with the buildings, trees, bushes, and other scenery that Stan has scratch built to prototype model the way Summit looked in the late 1940's - early 1950's.

The first structure in Victorville is the Depot.  This is a laser kit built by Dwight.  Right now Victorville looks kind of lonely, but it will fill in soon.
